PLEIN AIR WORKSHOP AT INTERLOCHEN CENTER FOR THE ARTS

April 19-21, 2024.
With gorgeous lake views surrounded by the beautifully rich colors of spring in bloom, you will have the perfect backdrop for developing your painting skills in a welcoming, supportive environment, while experiencing the serenity of practicing your art in nature. Open to all skill levels, the workshop will provide a crash course on the fundamentals of color mixing, composition, and basic techniques. You will then apply your knowledge and hone your powers of observation as you capture the beauty of the natural landscape at this special time of the year. After working “en plein air,” participants will be invited back into the studio to discuss and fine tune their works.

FISHERS PARKS SPRING BREAK ART CAMP

I will be teaching April 1-5 at Fishers Parks Hub 'n Spoke Maker Space. Open to campers ages 8-13. We will spend the first half of each day (9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) learning new art techniques and completing art-based projects and activities, ending with an art show for family and friends on Friday. From 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. each day, campers will experience a more traditional day-camp setting, with a variety of fun and educational activities, from outdoor play, exploration, and games to STEM, music, and more!

NOBLESVILLE CREATES CLASSES - ONLINE OR IN-STUDIO

We've had such tremendous success with the Noblesville Creates (formerly Nickel Plate Arts) online/in-studio hybrid painting and drawing classes, we're going to continue them through the the year. For online classes, you'll get an easy to use link to my Zoom Room once you register. In person classes are easy to reserve, but space is limited so don't delay.
