JOIN ME IN MAY 2024!

Join me on a once-in-a-lifetime creative journey as we paint, sketch, explore and dine in the Loire Valley, France. We will stay in the quaint town of Amboise, with a history dating to the 2nd century. Situated on the banks of the Loire River, we will discover and create in this World UNESCO Heritage Site. Suitable for creatives and artists of all levels, from adventurous beginners to professionals. Bring any media you prefer: oil, watercolor, pen/ink, graphite, journal, computer and of course, your camera. Everyone is welcome!

We will visit and paint at two of the most famous castles in the Loire Valley, Chenonceau and Villandry, create along the Loire River, walk through a troglodyte wine cave, dine in a crèperie, tea rooms and cafés, attend a wine/cheese tasting at a local épicerie, see a hat-making demonstration, while resting and eating in a 4-star hotel steps away from Clos Lucé where Leonardo da Vinci worked during the last years of his life (we will visit and paint here, too).

Lodging, meals (except alcohol and one lunch where you are on your own to explore), daily transportation and admission to sites, basic instruction and critique, basic French lesson the first evening, and transport from the Tours train station to Amboise are included.

You will be on your own to obtain transportation to/from Tours and trip & health insurance.
