Often we do not find our path in life until we see it below our feet.

The Ohio native found her path in 1994 when she left the corporate world to pursue art. She has lived in Chicago and South Florida, recently returning to the Midwest.

Jeannette received her BA from Kalamazoo College. She has studied with renowned artists Graham Nickson, dean of the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture; and Miraslov Antic, instructor at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and continues to learn from national and international workshops.

In addition to being a professional artist, Jeannette is a teacher, a mentor and a supporter of the local arts scene. From 2004-2017, she founded and ran ArtStart, an arts education non-profit organization, delivering programming to underserved areas of Palm Beach County. Currently, in the Indianapolis area, Jeannette works as a drawing & painting instructor at Nickel Plate Arts where she was awarded the 2020 Nickel Plate Arts Educator of the Year. She also is a painting & drawing instructor at Pendleton Artists Society. She continues to lead workshops at Ignite Studio in Fishers, where she was the artist-in-residence in 2019. She also teaches painting and drawing, in-person and online, at Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan.

Jeannette’s work is collected worldwide and has been shown in solo and group events regionally and nationally since 1997. She currently resides in Fishers, IN.

"Refreshing, talented, nice, unjaded – all adjectives that best describe this unpretentious artist. She is a painter who views the world through rose-colored glasses and chooses to see the positive rather than the negative. This shows in her paintings which exude upbeat, bright colors."
~ Joella Cain, The Palm Beacher magazine
