PLEIN AIR WORKSHOP AT INTERLOCHEN CENTER FOR THE ARTS

With gorgeous lake views surrounded by the beautifully rich colors of fall, you will have the perfect backdrop for developing your painting skills in a welcoming, supportive environment, while experiencing the serenity of practicing your art in nature. Open to all skill levels, the workshop will provide a crash course on the fundamentals of color mixing, composition, and basic techniques. You will then apply your knowledge and hone your powers of observation as you capture the beauty of the natural landscape at this special time of the year. After working “en plein air,” participants will be invited back into the studio to discuss and fine tune their works.
